Aloha,
Just to confirm we are all ont he same page.
We will have practice tomorrow, Monday night at 8 p.m. I, however, will not be able to make it. Lilly will also be on hand with samples of lipsticks and something else.
We will have practice on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
We can practice on Wednesday, if you're available. Nina is not, so its a matter of who can be there and whether we want to.
It would be great if we could have one last practice Thursday night. Aunty and Uncle will not be on hand, but Nina will have the key to open up and lock up.
Since, we're all for the most part leaving Friday night, should we consider renting a van? Liz already has a car reserved, but our hotel is about 10-15 miles from the convention center. It might be worthwhile to ask Liz to change the car to a bigger one and we can all contribute to it. Any thoughts?
Finally, I believe it's Natalie, from the Wahine group who offered to take our costumes (in garment bag) to the hotel as she and her boyfriend are planning to drive up as well. If you're interested in doing this, take your bag to hula by Wednesday.
If anyone has anything more to add or any corrections, please feel free to post your comments.
Aloha... have a great week!

Yes, rehearsals Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu... 8pm each night. Bring your dress in a garment bag (with your name somewhere on/in the bag/dress) and give it to DESI. She's the wahine that volunteered to take garment bags for the makua. Desi is one of the older wahine (maybe the oldest out of them), dark hair, light skin, smiles a lot.
I think either another car or a van would work. Another car might be convenient so the seven of you (incl. monique) don't feel like you have to be attached at the hip the entire time... or if there's an emergency situation where we would have to split up for whatever reason... but if you just want to cost effective, a van is the better choice. I'll be chauffeurred by my brother in his car with a carseat for Cade, so count me out.
All monies were due yesterday. (I gave my $100 for the raffle tix and turned it in with the competitor sheet as my dues paid). If you didn't attend rehearsal yesterday, be sure to turn in your raffle tix and dues tonight.
Finally, did Uncle say to kahea the "ha`ina" or don't kahea...?
At first uncle said, don't kahea. But then during practice I think he wanted us to kahea. We'll probably have to check with him one more time once we're there in Pleasanton...smile!
