Good evening Makua!
Okay, here's our blog. Now to ensure that this works we need to be sure that anyone who has been given access to the blog uses it to be sure to keep us all updated on what's going on.
The first order of business and something I'm quite anxious to get out to you is reviewing schedules to see when we'll be practicing for Pleasanton. As it stands, I can meet just like we did before, any night after 8:00 p.m. However, you should know that I will be out of town October 20.
Also, so far Ronell and I have made airline reservations to Oakland. We leave on Friday, 11/2 from Ontario at 8 p.m. and arrive in Oakland around 9:15 p.m. We then leave Sunday around 11:15 a.m.
I just spoke to Liz and she informed me that three rooms have been reserved at the San Ramon Marriott which is the host hotel.
There are some events coming up and I'll update as soon as I get home from hula tomorrow night.

thanks for getting this blog up and running, ricki! i will be booking my flight sometime this week... but caden & i be flying from LAX up to sacramento (early friday), where my older brother will be picking us up. as i mentioned before, my fam will be tagging along for the weekend.
liz - i got your message about the hotel rooms. (thanks)! anyone need to jump on them? if so, please post your requests ASAP, so we know if we need to book more. (i'll defer my request to anyone else that wants to share a room, since i already know i won't be sharing with the makua).

PS. i can maintain the same rehearsal schedule as we did for e hula mau - weeknights at 8:00 and saturdays at 12:30.
PPS... sooo, should we start rehearsals up again?... maybe starting next monday...?
Hey! I'm here! Thanks again Ricki...this is the coolest communication tool ever! I'm thinking of creating one for my Peer Counselors.
Anyway, the same rehearsal schedule works for me as well. I will be in San Francisco at a conference Oct. 24-26, but other than that I good to go. When do you all think we should start up again? I think soon.
Sign me up for one of those rooms. Right now the bf is thinking he might want to come. I don't think he will, but if he does I'll let you know so another Makua can stay in the room.

Hi everybody! Ricki, just let me say--you're awesome. Thanks for the blog set-up.
Carole and I (you know, the howlies in the back who are ALWAYS turning the wrong way) would both really love to come to Pleasanton--can we sign up for a room? We won't be dancing with y'all, of course, but we'd like to observe/help out/support, all that good stuff.
Let us know what we can do, who we can pay... consider us your devoted lackeys.
