Good evening!
I'd like to begin practice as soon as you all want to, but just to give you my schedule next week. I can probably come Monday through Thursday at 8 p.m. I have meetings until at least 7:30 p.m.
Liz, will you be able to ask Uncle Kawika if your husband can videotape him so that we can practice with him singing versus the CD that's not correct.
I won't be at hula the rest of this week or Saturday, so when anything gets scheduled please post the message here.
Also Liz, Laura from the Monday/Wednesday class, would like to know how they can get a room. She and her friend would like to come up to Pleasanton and be our cheerleaders (for the whole halau, not just us!). I'll forward her email to you and you all can work that out.
I think that's it for now. Have a great evening. By the way, who will be able to perform at Abella's church on Sunday, 9/30? I'm in, but we kind of need to know who else will be there.

I will stop by practice tonite 9/19 to nail Uncle down about recording him playing intro, song and the exit.
The room count is Room #1 Ricki and Liz (me); #2 Abella and Ronelle? Which leaves #3 available to either Laura and Carole from dance class or Heather and Jennifer is they are interested.
... however it works out, it looks like room #3 should be taken somehow. i'll go ahead and book my own room now. i'm also booking my flights today as i finally worked out the transportation with my brother. (he's got an extra car seat so i'm not trying to lug one around the airport).
